Welcome to
Central Reformed
Connecting all people to God and to one another...
Whether you’re just stopping by, worshiping with us online, or in search of a new church home, we’re glad you’re here! Central has been in ministry since 1840, connecting all people to God and to one another through scripture, sacrament, song, and service. We are known for our commitment to excellence in classical worship, our intentional spiritual formation and discipleship for all ages, our liberating theology that celebrates the great diversity of thought across the Reformed tradition, and our service to our community. There’s a place for you and your family at Central!
Teacher In Residence 2025
We are honored to welcome Rev. Dr. Karoline Lewis, Marbury E. Anderson Chair of Biblical Preaching at Luther Seminary, over two weekends — Nov. 7-9 and 14-16 — as our 15th Teacher In Residence.
Topic: Encountering the Christ of John’s Gospel Today
Why, in today’s culture, is the Gospel of John still meaningful? Is it more than the message of John 3:16? Join us to discover anew how John’s unique story and portrait of Jesus shapes and gives worth to being a disciple for the sake of the world God loves.
Saturdays, Nov. 8 and 15 - two workshops on John’s Gospel of Belief for Today (held in Central’s fellowship hall)
(On Nov. 8, we gather from 9:00 am-1:00 pm, with breakfast, and on Nov. 15 from 10 am-2:00 pm, with a Mediterranean lunch)
Sundays, Nov. 9 and 16 - Karoline Lewis preaching during Sunday worship; she will also teach classes from 11:15am-12:15pm.
Dr. Lewis hopes that a deeper appreciation of the Gospel of John’s unique interpretation of the Christ will influence our approach to living the Christian faith in today’s world.
All are welcome!
This Sunday...

Join us for uplifting music and an inspiring message. You’ll be glad you did! Pastor Matt Shults will preach on ”Gratitude on the Borderlands” (based on Luke 17:11-19). Our nursery is staffed with trained Central volunteers, and young children, ages 4 - fourth grade, meet for Children and Worship (they will be dismissed after the children’s moment during worship). You will also find ample parking in our lot. Should you be unable to attend in person, we do offer Live Stream (click on the WATCH LIVESTREAM button or visit youtube.com/@centralreformedchurch6498). Experience
We offer a more traditional style of worship, with services structured around praise, reflection, growth, and celebration. We honor God’s love through choral music and hymns, taking the time each week to learn and acknowledge God’s place in our lives.
Connect
Aside from our Sunday worship, we offer numerous opportunities for our members to connect with other Christians and grow in their relationship with God, including youth groups, children’s activities, book studies, and outreach programs.
Serve
We seek to live as Christ did, serving the less fortunate and acting as God’s hands and feet in our community. We have a long-running history of ministry and generosity and provide ways for members to give back to our community.
