Dr. Louis Lotz - Pastoral Leader

Dr. Louis E. Lotz is the ninth Pastoral Leader of Central Reformed Church. Before coming to Central Pastor Lotz served churches in Hudsonville, Michigan, Sioux City, Iowa, and Rochester, New York.

Pastor Lotz is a widely published author. He has published more than 250 articles, short stories, and editorials in a various publications. His regular column in the Church Herald magazine has twice won the “Best Regular Column Of The Year” award from the Evangelical Press Association, and has twice been named runner-up.

Pastor Lotz was the 1991-92 President of the General Synod of the Reformed Church in America. He is a 1972 graduate of Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and was named a Distinguished Alumni of Hope in 1992. He is a graduate of Western Seminary in Holland, Michigan, and holds two advanced degrees (Th.M., D.Min.) from Union Seminary in Richmond, Virginia.

Pastor Lotz and his wife Mary Jean live in nearby Hudsonville. They have two grown children.
