Rev. Mary Bos -Minister to Seniors
Private donations have made possible the hiring of Rev. Mary Bos. She will work one day a week, her primary duty being the care and visitation of Central’s seniors. Mary and her husband Rev. Tom Bos joined us in 2005. Mary is ordained in the Reformed Church in America and had a 26-year career as a registered nurse before entering the ministry. She served for 12 years as a chaplain at Pine Rest, and teaches a Parish Nurse certification class at Calvin College. She and Tom have four grown children and 11 grandchildren. At Central Reformed Church we honor our senior members, and we are pleased to be able to offer this ministry geared specifically to their care and well-being.
