Children and Worship
Our Children & Worship Program provides an age-appropriate worship experience for children ages Four Years Old through 4th Grade, this program is divided into three Worship Centers: Worship Center I (ages Four years - Kindergarten); Worship Center II (grades 1 & 2); and Worship Center III (grades 3 & 4). We believe that young children should be included in Sunday worship in a way that is both meaningful and appropriate for them. Children & Worship uses a sensory-motor style of storytelling as a primary means for encountering God. The children are introduced to aspects of liturgy, such as the Lord’s Prayer and the Doxology, as well as to the sacraments of Baptism and The Lord’s Supper.
The program meets during the 9:30 a.m. worship service, and the children are dismissed from the Sanctuary at the Children’s Moment.
