Youth Christian Education

October 26, 2008 was Reformation Sunday, and the Jr. High Class learned about Martin Luther and participated in their annual re-enactment of the nailing of the 95 theses. The students actually re-created the theses (along with a sample indulgence and papal degree of excommunication for Martin Luther) and posted them on the nails on the front doors of the Central Reformed Church facing College Avenue.
During Education Hour (11:10 am-noon) our youth meet for an important hour of Christian formation. Using a variety of teaching methods, our teachers lead age-appropriate lessons and discussions on relevant topics. Questions are welcome…questions are encouraged…heck, questions are practically required to be a Christian these days, and especially during Education Hour at Central Reformed Church!
Our class groupings are:
6th-8th grades - Room 20
9th-12th grades - Conference Room
