Fourth, fifth and sixth graders this one is for you and your friends.  Meet at church and get some fun face time with your friends from all different school districts.  We’ll need a couple of parent chaperones.  Drivers will bring kidz home to their front doorstep after this event.  We’ll get pizza and drinks at the alley.  The address is AMF Bowling Center 3500 Eastbrook Lanes Blvd. Grand Rapids, if you want to meet us there.  Bring $5.00 for food.  Please sign-up at the KiDZ Kart in the Atrium at church.

Learn about Michigan Camp offerings for your KiDZ this summer.  Understand how our POST SCHOLARSHIP fund works at Central and talk with representatives from Cran Hill, Camp Geneva, SpringHill and Grace Youth Camps.  There will be a question and answer session beginning at 11:00 am.  Forms will be available for all of our camp options.  Get your church friends together and go to camp!!!

Join KiDZ Central Friends at Gymco for an evening of jumping fun and gymnastics.  Four year olds through sixth graders friends and family are welcome.  Parents may drop off their KiDZ or stay and play.  The address is  2306 Camelot Ridge Court SE off East Paris near 28th Street.  Parents must  sign a waiver for your child(ren).  A lite snack will be served.  Co-pay of $5.00 per child.  Thank you!

YOUTH AUCTION 2012 – To benefit Central’s senior high mission trip to Succotz, a small village near the western border of Belize, this June.  Join us at Custer Office Interiors (217 Grandville Ave SW, Downtown Grand Rapids) from 6:00-10:00PM on March 3rd, where you will enjoy a plenty of delicious Latin-American finger foods and refreshments, while you browse silent auction items and socialize.  Then stick around for our live auction, MC-ed by local-celebrity-auctioneer, Miranda!  It will be the most riotously FUN investment of both finances AND time you will make all year!  COME, and help us bridge the monetary gap, so that our team of students can go bridge the relational and spiritual gaps of this experience…and all in the Name of our God!

 

(Admission is $20/person, and includes one adult beverage and all the hors d’oeuvres you can eat.  Additional drink tickets may be purchased.  Pop, juice and water are included at no additional cost.)

Drop your kidz off at church Saturday, at 9:30 AM for daycare and lunch, then get to know other nursery moms during some  “mommy pampering”.  Moms will return to church by 1:00 PM.  For more information or to RSVP please call Children’s Ministry Team member Kristen Borgman 791-4177.

Fourth, fifth, sixth graders, friends and family should meet at the church at 4:30 PM to car pool a short distance to the Pando Sledding area just north of town.  Wear warm clothes and bring $5.00 for a stop at fast food.  We will return to church at 7:00 PM.  In the event that there is no snow, we will see a movie.  Please RSVP by signing up at the KiDZ Welcome Kart in the Atrium or call Mrs. Timmer 285.9137 so that we will have enough car space.

KiDZ Family Swimming At Wealthy Pool January 10, 2012

Families and Friends are invited to come to Wealthy Pool at 1961 Lake Drive in East Grand Rapids from 4:00–6:00 pm.  Supper of pizza, beverages and finger foods will be served in the activities room.  The Wealthy Pool which is kept at 80 degrees has a life guard on duty as well as many water toys.  It is suitable for swimmers and floaters.  Showers and changing rooms are on site.  Parents may either stay and play or drop off  their children and return.
