Alma College Choir under the direction of Dr. William Nichols 4 pm March 14th
The Alma Choir is the primary touring choir in the Alma choral program. The Choir’s reputation for excellence, its many traditions, and its ambitious performing, touring and recording schedule attract a group of talented students for whom choral singing is an important part of their lives. About 30% of Alma Choir members are preparing for careers as professional musicians. The other singers are busy preparing for careers in every imaginable area. The common thread that binds these students is the joy — emotional, intellectual and spiritual — found in singing together.

Family Christmas Eve Service December 6, 2008

This Christmas Eve join us at Central Reformed Church as we celebrate the birth of the Christ Child with our children. Join us at 4 pm for a family friendly Christmas Eve service. Every child is invited to participate in this service by choosing and wearing a costume. (Costumes available in the chapel beginning at 3:30 pm.) Children will be called up during the children’s moment to create a living display of the Nativity scene. Following the children’s moment, children may go to the nursery or may remain in worship with their families.
Your family will enjoy this traditional yet family friendly service and leave with “Silent Night” on their lips as we include the traditional singing of this carol by candlelight. (Parents are invited to share their candles with the youngest children to avoid burned fingers from the hot wax. )
Everyone is welcome as celebrate Christmas together.
